As an EBI Analyst II, you will serve as a key resource to department chairmen, administrators, and regional hospital leadership, supporting the development and optimization of business intelligence tools across the organization. In this role, you will update contracts, analyze reimbursement methodologies, evaluate contract performance, and collaborate with EBI Developers to identify data sources, apply business rules, and implement dashboards and other BI solutions that enable informed, strategic decision-making.
A caregiver in this role works remotely from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Facilitate the creation of new operational indicators by identifying process improvement opportunities and utilizing disparate data sources to provide timely, accurate and meaningful decision support tools.
Utilize computer skills to maintain complex reporting systems essential to providing timely and accurate reporting.
Become an expert in at least two Cleveland Clinic subject matters, including, but not limited to: patient occupancy, patient experience, operating room utilization, Professional Coding, and physician productivity.
Serve as a technical resource in the analysis and evaluation of operations and financial functions of clinical areas related to utilization management and operational indicator performance.
Interpret and present data analysis results including explanation of statistical and financial techniques used, assumptions made and summary of results.
Document methods and interpretation of results for future reference.
Create summary and detail reports for online dashboards and other platforms for all levels of the Cleveland Clinic utilizing dashboard software.
Ensure the quality and data integrity of reports, making improvements and adjustments as needed.
Provide guidance to level I Analysts when needed.
Maintain and update payer contracts in the STRATA modeling system.
Provide analytics for contract negotiations.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related fieldand two years of related experience
OR High School diploma/GED and six years of database development or analytical experience
OR Associate's degree and four years of database development or analytical experience
OR Master's degree and one year of experience
Strong computer skills including Access, Excel and PowerPoint
Understanding data warehousing and t-SQL programming
Proven experience in data analytics, reporting, and visualization
Strong proficiency in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Advanced skills in SQL or other database querying languages
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Ability to research/troubleshoot problems
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Experience with Business Objects and t-SQL programming
Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.

Pay Range
Minimum Annual Salary: $63,250.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $96,467.50

A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
