Job Description

Role Summary

· Responsible for installation, qualification and maintenance of automated equipment / instruments

Role Responsibilities

Key Areas

Activities

Equipment qualification

· Generation and revision of specifications (URS)

· Prepare engineering drawings

· Coordinate with CFTs for URS/DQ/IQ/OQ and PQ of all relevant equipment

· New equipment installation support (related to automation and instrumentation)

· Provide onsite support in start-up and commissioning new equipment or upgrades to existing equipment on aspects related to automation and instrumentation.

· Support or leads new equipment initiatives

· Act as the subject matter expert in automation technology infrastructure support.

· Work closely with project sponsors and project team members to ensure effective communication takes place throughout any project life cycle

· Deep knowledge of technology policy, process and procedure development and implementation.

· Deep knowledge of plant process automation technologies.

Equipment Maintenance

· Primary onsite Subject Matter Expert to the team for controls, instrumentation, operator interface and batch manufacturing system

· Configuration of Controllers, PLC’s, SCADA &DCS systems.

· Preventive and corrective maintenance of automation and instrumentation systems.

· Identify, implement and execute preventative maintenance of automation and instrumentation equipment

· Ensure controls and instrumentation maintenance activities conform to GxP’s, SOP’s, OSHA, and environmental requirements

· Ensure that all applied technologies are practical, operator friendly, and reliable

  • Effective communication with original equipment manufacturers to address / resolve the repetitive issues.

Project Management

  • Effective communication with original equipment manufacturers to address / resolve the repetitive issues.

Reporting

Documentation/Compliance

Power Platform Developer / Analyst

  • Design, build, and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) applications to support business process automation.

  • Develop and manage Power Automate flows for workflow automation, approvals, notifications, and system integrations.

  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.

  • Work with SharePoint Online and Dataverse as primary data sources for applications and automation

Essential Requirements

  • Power BI
