A Day in the Life
We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Achieve sales revenue targets and grow market share for a specified territory by promoting,sellingand servicing Medtronic Endovascular and related products.Practice good territory management in terms of organization, administration and expenseplanning and controland trainappropriate medicalstaff on products and procedures.
** Must be able to drive up to 80% of the time within the assigned territory.Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application**

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning/Results Orientation
Develop and implement plans to achieve/exceed salesbudget
Territory Management/Account Development
Develop andmaintainaccurateaccount and territoryrecords
Ensure maximum coverage of all accounts within territory geographic areas tomaintainoptimumlevel of exposure and effective timemanagement
Develop and act on plans whichidentifyopportunities within current customer base and help formulate salesstrategies
Control expenses and adhere to company policies andprocedures
Influence and Selling Skills
Identify,establishand maintain productive working relationships with key decision makers, customers and their staff, administrative staff, etc.
Plan and implement effective sales/product presentations tocustomers
Probe to understand and confirm customer’s needs, handleobjectionsand gaincommitment
Maintain and expand existing business and develop new businessopportunities
Represent company at industry conferences and maximize potential by targeting specific customers to gain sales leads, and pursue opportunities to promote the company’s productrange
Develop and implement strategies to countercompetitors
Customer Service
Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints in a prompt and effectivemanner
Educate customers to ensure that products are understood and usedeffectively
Maintainhigh standardsof personal presentation and promote a professional personal and companyimage
Communication
Develop andmaintainproductive working relationships within company to ensure maximum sales support andmaintaina high levelof customerservice
Contribute to the development ofa strong teameffort
Communicate market intelligence/competitor activity promptly, including potential sales leads, and informationregardingproduct price or account activity to Regional Manager and otherappropriate companypersonnel
Ensure a professional standard of written and verbalcommunication
Self-Development and Product Knowledge
Develop andmaintaincomprehensive clinical and technical productknowledge
Recognize and understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company’sproducts
Participate in product and skills development programs, managing own selfdevelopment
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME
HighSchool Diploma (or equivalent) AND 8+years experience*
ORAssociate’s DegreeAND 6+years experience*
ORBachelor’s DegreeAND 4+years experience*
* Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years medical device sales experience in a hospital environment; selling interventional cardiology or vascular surgery products.
AAA and/or Thoracic Procedural knowledge
Demonstrated success inprevioussales role;indicatinga high levelof sales performance in a highly technical,competitiveand volatileenvironment
Consistent success working in a variety of businessconditions
Demonstrated skills in sales planning,organizationandexecution
Sales management or sales training experience
Top 10% past performance
President's Club or equivalent
Ability to teach and educate medical personnel,peersand technical supportpersonnel
Demonstrated success working in a collaborativeenvironment
Demonstrated skills in account, inventory, expense, and budgetmanagement

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
